Removal and installation of the side impact sensor

You will need a TORX T30 key.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the top and bottom facings of an average rack of a body (see Removing and installing interior linings).

NOTE: The side impact sensor is mounted on the left B-pillar, at the bottom.

3. Pressing the latch..



4.... disconnect the wiring harness block from the sensor.



5. Turn out the screw of fastening of the sensor..



6….and remove it.

7. Install the side impact sensor in the reverse order of removal.
