1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the upper and lower B-pillar trims (see Removing and installing interior trim).
NOTE: The side impact sensor is located on the left B-pillar, lower.
3. By pressing the lock…
4….disconnect the wiring harness connector from the sensor.
5. Remove the sensor mounting screw…
6….and take it off.
7. Install the side impact sensor in the reverse order of removal.
