Removal and installation of the hydroelectronic control unit for anti-lock braking system

The hydroelectronic control unit for the anti-lock braking system is mounted on a bracket to the left of the vacuum brake booster and fastened with two nuts.

You will need: key on "10"..



... and a special key "11" for unscrewing the fittings of the brake pipelines.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the battery mounting shelf (refer to Removing and Installing the Battery Shelf)



3. Prying off the clamp of the wiring harness block, move it in the direction of the arrow up to the stop and disconnect the wiring harness block from the block connector.




4. Turn off six fittings of fastening of pipelines to the hydroelectronic block..



5….and remove the pipelines from the two plastic holders.



6. Turn off two nuts of fastening of the hydroelectronic block to an arm and remove it.

7. Install the hydraulic unit and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.

WARNING: When replacing the hydro-electronic unit, air enters the brake system. It is impossible to remove it without the use of special equipment. In this regard, to replace the unit, contact a service station.
