Consequence: therefore, incorrect values can be obtained - according to experience, as if you always drive with less air pressure in the tires. Regularly check the tire pressure every three or four weeks, a monthly loss of pressure of 1.5% is normal. If more air comes out of the tire, it is necessary to inspect it carefully: most often "worrying occurs" in the lower part of the surface.

Don't forget to screw on the safety cap

After each pressure measurement, the tire valves should always be closed with protective caps. If dirt gets into the valve, it may not be airtight - the tires constantly lose air. And this can lead to trouble. Never drive with low air pressure in the tires - as a result, the tire temperature increases beyond all measure. Sooner or later, this will inevitably lead to the phenomenon of "disintegration" or wear of the tires. On the contrary, an increase in pressure by 0.2-0.3 bar is considered a positive fact: the steering works more sensitively, the tires last longer and even fuel consumption is slightly reduced. Disadvantage: the car does not spring as comfortably.
