With the engine idling, press the brake, move the selector lever to one of the driving positions (D, R, 2, 1) and release the brake - the car will move off by itself. To increase speed, press the gas pedal.

Stop

Engine braking
If the selector lever is moved from position "O" to position "2" while driving, the automatic transmission will shift to second gear and remain in it once the speed drops to 91 km/h. If the lever is moved from position "2" to position "1", the automatic transmission will shift to first gear and remain in it once the speed drops to 48 km/h.
Driving in difficult conditions
If your car is stuck in sand, mud or snow, you can try the rocking method by quickly changing direction (forward-backward) and maintaining engine speed.
To increase the effect, select "R" when moving forward and "D" when moving backward. In extreme cases, position "2" can be used to start off on an icy road.
