Katcollector…

…and the rear part of the main muffler are suspended on three identical pillows…

...and the front part of the main muffler..

…and the exhaust pipe is on two cushions, differing in shape and color.

1. To replace the catalytic converter and rear muffler suspension cushions, use a screwdriver to slide the cushion off the catalytic converter (or muffler) bracket and then off the bracket on the subframe (on the body).
HELPFUL TIP: If you are replacing a damaged cushion, cut it with a knife to make it easier to remove.
2. Install the new cushion in the reverse order of removal. To facilitate the installation of the cushion, lubricate the exhaust manifold (muffler) and subframe (body) brackets with a soap solution.

3. To replace the exhaust pipe suspension cushion, move the cushion with a screwdriver…

4. …and remove it from the pipe bracket.

5. Remove the cushion from the hole in the body side member, overcoming the elastic resistance of its rubber mass.

6. Similarly, remove the front part of the main muffler suspension cushion.
7. Install the exhaust pipe and front muffler suspension cushions in the reverse order of removal. To facilitate installation of the cushions, lubricate the brackets on the exhaust pipe and muffler, as well as the cushion tails with a soap solution.
