NOTE: The tires can be used up to a tread depth of 1.6 mm (the depth of the tread grooves over the entire surface of the tire is not less than 1.6 mm). However, for safety reasons, it is recommended to replace the tires at a tread depth of 3 mm.
M+S (winter) tyres have sufficient grip on snow-covered roads with a tread depth of at least 4 mm.
The tire should be examined for cuts and their depth should be determined. If the cuts reach the cord, the steel cord will corrode from penetrating moisture.
