Location of identification codes

NOTE: Vehicle identification number (VIN) can be recognized by the asterisk (*) at the beginning and end of the number.

VIN for registration purposes is stamped on the body, on the right floor panel. The vehicle identification number is also indicated on the VIN plate. The VIN plate is located in the engine compartment on the front cross member in front of the air intake duct.

A visible VIN label is affixed to the instrument panel. It is located next to the windshield on the left side and is visible from the outside.
