Driving in winter with a diesel engine

            0

When the outside temperature drops, the fluidity of diesel fuel decreases, as paraffin precipitates. Diesel fuel gets thick like honey. Therefore, in winter, it is recommended to add certain additives to diesel fuel, which improve the fluidity of the fuel and guarantee engine start up to -20°C.

To eliminate this problem, an electric diesel fuel heater -1- is installed before the fuel filter. The heating device is automatically switched on by a thermal switch at temperatures below 0°C. A thermal switch protects the fuel from overheating in the event of a defect. The result is reliable operation at all temperatures.
