You will need: a 10 wrench, flat and Phillips screwdrivers.
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.
2. Remove the lining of the floor tunnel (see Removing and installing floor tunnel lining).
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the parking brake warning light switch.
4. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the lever of a drive of a parking brake to the basis of a body.
5. Prying off with a screwdriver the stop barb on the leash of the parking brake lever…
6.... straighten the antennae..
7.... and remove the tip of the front cable from the groove of the leash.
8. Remove the parking brake lever.
9. If the parking brake lever was removed for replacement, and the new lever does not have a switch for the parking brake warning light, remove the screw that secures the switch to the base of the lever..
10.... remove the switch and install on a new lever.
11. Install the parking brake lever and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
12. Check the adjustment of the parking brake actuator and, if necessary, adjust the actuator (refer to Parking Brake Actuator Adjustment).
