Adjusting the parking brake (Taurus 1 and 2)

1. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on stands. Block the front wheels to prevent it from rolling.

2. The parking brake must be fully released.

3. Working underneath the vehicle, tighten the adjusting nut until the rear brakes grab slightly when turning the wheels (see illustration). Now turn the nut back until the grabbing disappears.
