2. The parking brake must be fully released.
3. Working underneath the vehicle, tighten the adjusting nut until the rear brakes grab slightly when turning the wheels (see illustration). Now turn the nut back until the grabbing disappears.
12.3. While holding the end of the adjusting rod with locking pliers to prevent it from turning, turn the adjusting nut until the rear brakes "grab" slightly, then turn the nut back so that the brakes do not grab.
4. Lower the vehicle and check the operation of the parking brake.
