Adjusting the parking brake (Mondeo 2)
During vehicle operation, as the brake linings wear out, the travel of the parking brake lever increases. Raise the rear wheels, move the parking brake lever by 3-5 teeth and check the vehicle braking. If the wheels do not brake, make additional adjustments. The adjustments made at the bottom of the vehicle are described in the "Brakes" section. After adjustment, release the parking brake lever and check the free rotation of the wheel.
