Checking the oil level in a manual transmission

It is necessary to measure the oil level in the gearbox with the engine off. The oil filler plug is installed on the side of the gearbox. After unscrewing the plug (for this, the front of the car is mounted on supports) insert your index finger (rod suitable for this purpose) into the threaded hole. If the finger touches the oil, then its level is normal. If not, add gear oil and re-tighten the plug.
