Checking the oil level in a manual transmission (Mondeo 2)

The gearbox oil level must be measured with the engine off. The oil filler cap is installed on the side of the gearbox. After unscrewing the cap (for this purpose, the front part of the car is placed on supports), insert the index finger (or a suitable rod) into the threaded hole. If the finger touches the oil, its level is normal. Otherwise, add transmission oil and screw the cap back on.
