Note: The level and quality of the oil in the manual transmission should not decrease under normal vehicle operation. However, we recommend checking it from time to time.
1. The gearbox has an inspection hole and a filler plug, which is removed when checking the oil level. See Figure 22.1.

2. Remove the plug from the gearbox and use your little finger to check the fluid level in the gearbox housing. It should be at the level of the lower edge of the plug hole.
3. Otherwise, add the required oil through the plug hole using a syringe or bulb.
4. Carefully tighten the plug and check for leaks after a few miles.
