Tire change

1. Tires should be swapped at regular intervals and when abnormal wear is detected. After lifting the vehicle and removing the tires, be sure to check the brakes at the same time (section 20).

2. Radial tires should be changed according to a special scheme (see picture).



3. To properly raise the vehicle and change tires, see the information given at the beginning of this book under "Jacking and towing". When checking the brakes, remember that you can not install the car on only one jack.

4. The car must be raised with a tipper or jack stands so that all four wheels are off the ground. Check again that the machine is on a secure footing.

5. After rearranging all the wheels, check and, if necessary, adjust the pressure in the tires, as well as the tightness of the fixing nuts.
