Malfunctions of the gasoline injection system

            0

Cause
elimination
A. A cold engine does not or does not move well.
  1. Defect in the power supply relay.
  2. The fuel pump does not pump fuel or does not supply enough fuel.
  3. Defective pressure regulator.
  4. The vacuum system is leaking.
  5. Defective coolant temperature sensor.
  6. Defective throttle position sensor.
  7. Defect in the ignition system.
  8. Defect in the speed sensor or break in the wire connection.
  9. Defect in the control unit.
  10. Suction system leaking (additional air appears).
  1. Check, replace if necessary.
  2. Is there gasoline in the tank? Check pump connections. If necessary, dismantle the pump from the tank, measure the flow rate.
  3. Measure system pressure.
  4. Check all hose connections.
  5. Check.
  6. Check.
  7. The ignition system should be checked.
  8. Check, replace if necessary.
  9. Check.
  10. Check all hose connections.
B. A hot engine does not or does not move well.
  1. See A1 - A10.
  2. Defect in the absolute pressure sensor.
  3. The injectors are leaking.
Check.
Q. Engine starts but then stops again.
  1. Throttle adjusting motor not working.
  2. See A6.
  3. Defect in the lambda sensor.
  1. Check the adjusting motor, replace if necessary.
  2. Check function, replace if necessary.
D. Cold engine shakes at idle.
  1. See A5.
  2. See Q1.
E. Warm engine shakes at idle.
See Q1.
E. Idling is interrupted when a strong current consumer is turned on or when the servo control is fully rotated.
See Q1.
G. The engine is misfiring.
  1. The fuel filter is dirty.
  2. See A2 and A7.
  3. See B2.
  4. See Q3.
  1. Replace filter.
Z. Fluctuations in rotational speeds at 2000 - 4000 rpm
See A6 and A 10.
I. Engine runs rough, then stops.
See A3 and A7.
K. Engine power is insufficient.
  1. See A2, A4 and A6.
  2. The throttle valve is not set to the full throttle position.
  1. Adjust the thrust of the gas pedal.
L. High fuel consumption.
See A8.
M. The engine often does not set in motion.
  1. See A1 - A10.
  2. See B1 - B3.
  3. The safety switch of the injection system interrupts the fuel supply (after an accident, a strong collision, leaks in the fuel supply system from the tank to the injectors).
  1. Remove the plugs in the right side trim (legroom). Click on the popup button. Set the ignition key to the working position, the fuel pump should work audibly. If not, repair leaks in the system.
