Withdrawal
1. This sensor is installed in the cylinder block on the thread (behind the right main bearing of the input shaft) (see fig. 20.1).
2. Park the vehicle on a firm level surface, open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable (chapter 5 paragraph 1).
3. Raise the front and place it on supports.
4. Disconnect the wiring from the sensor and turn it out. Get ready to clean up oil leaks.
Installation
5. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Lubricate the threads of the sensor with a thin layer of sealant and tighten it to the required torque. Check engine oil level and top up if necessary (Chapter 1). Immediately after starting and warming up the engine to normal operating temperature, check for oil leaks.
