Removing and installing the door window lifter (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Removal

1. Remove the glass (paragraph 12).

2. Loosen (without completely unscrewing) the window lifter and manual drive/electric motor handle mounting bolts (see Fig. 13.2, a-g).





3. Tilt the handle or motor so that the bolts come out of the slots and enter the door opening.



4. Slide the top bolts to the right and push them out of the slots towards the inside of the door. Slide the bottom bolt up and push it towards the inside of the door.

5. Disconnect the electric window motor connector (see Fig. 13.5).



6. Pull the window regulator out of the door through the opening in the inner panel (see Fig. 13.6.a-g).

Installation

7. Installation - in the reverse order of removal.
