Light range adjustment

Every Focus is factory-equipped with a headlight leveling system. Thanks to this, the range of light is precisely adapted to the load - oncoming traffic is not blinded under any circumstances. Light range adjustment works on voltage controlled stepper motors. The executive switch to the left of the steering wheel you change the adjustable resistance. It transmits the selected voltage to the servomotors: depending on the setting, the spindle in the headlight housing adjusts the reflector. In the basic installation, i.e. with two persons in the vehicle, the knurled roller must be in position «0», the scale in Focus is calculated to the position of the switch «2».



Adapted: You adapt the headlight range with the controller depending on the vehicle load.
