Spare wheel (Fusion)

The spare wheel can be installed on either the front or rear axle. The car can be equipped with a full-size spare wheel or a small one ("dock-type").

The small spare tire is intended for short-term use only and should be replaced with a regular tire as soon as possible.

After installing a small spare tire, the pressure in its tire should be 4.2 kgf/cm².

The speed of movement with a small spare wheel installed should not exceed 80 km/h. In addition, it is necessary to take into account that with this wheel the operation of the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the electronic stability program (ESP) changes. Therefore, maximum acceleration of the car, intensive braking and sharp turns should be avoided.

When installing a small spare wheel, the ground clearance under the corresponding axle is reduced by approximately 30 mm.

It is prohibited to use small-sized wheels of other types than those specified specifically for a given vehicle model.

It is not permitted to install two or more small-sized spare wheels.
