Tire markings (Fusion)

Designation 195/55 R16 88V (185/60 R15, 175/65 R14) is deciphered as follows:

195 (185, 175) – tire width, mm;

55 (60, 65) – ratio of height to width of profile, %;

R - radial tire;

16 (15, 14) – disk diameter in inches;

88 – load capacity index (sometimes the permissible load is indicated – MAX LOAD 560 kg);

V — speed index (O – 160 km/h; S – 180 km/h; T – 190 km/h; H – 210 km/h; V – 240 km/h; ZR - over 240 km/h).

In addition, the following markings may be applied to the tire:

DOT ND RB 2MM2 1207 (DOT - DOT compliant; ND — manufacturer's code designation; RB — tire size; 2MM2 – tire type; 1207 – date of manufacture, in this case the 12th week of 2007);

RADIAL - radial tire;

EXTRA LOAD - increased strength;

TUBELESS — tubeless (TUBETYPE — tube) tire;

EXTERIER/OUTSIDE (INTERIER/INSIDE) - outer (inner) side of the tire;

TREADWEAR 360 – tread wear resistance class;

TRACTION — class of adhesion properties;

TEMPERATURE A — temperature class of the tire (maximum permissible heating temperature).
