Designation 195/55 R16 88V (185/60 R15, 175/65 R14) is decrypted as follows:

195 (185, 175) – tire width, mm;

55 (60, 65) – profile height to width ratio, %;

R — radial tire;

16 (15, 14) - disc diameter in inches;

88 – load index (sometimes the allowable load is indicated - MAX LOAD 560 kg);

V — speed index (O - 160 km / h; S - 180 km / h; T - 190 km / h; H - 210 km / h; V - 240 km / h; ZR - over 240 km / h).

In addition, the following designations can be applied to the tire:
