Automatic transmission
The selection of driving modes (PRNDL) is transmitted to the gearbox via a cable. Adjustment is necessary after installing the gearbox or shift drive.
Remove the air filter and intake pipe, see p. 5.6.
Raise the car.
Remove the catalytic converter heat shield under the selector lever from the bottom of the body.

The adjustment mechanism is secured to the underside of the selector lever on the clamp "1". Unlock the adjustment cap "2" by turning it to the left. Disconnect the cable from the shift mechanism.

Place the selector lever in position "D".
Note: The battery must be connected, otherwise the lever cannot be moved out of the park position.
Make sure that the gearshift shaft lever on the gearbox is in the "D" position. The "D" mark is located on the gearshift lever.
Install the clutch cable and secure it by turning the adjusting cap to the right.
Screw on the thermal insulation shield.
Lower the car.
Install the intake pipe and air filter.
