Loosen the adhesive bond between the molding and the body using a thin nylon cord and remove the molding. To make the process easier, attach wooden handles to the ends of the cord and warm the molding up a little with a hair dryer.
Note! The adhesive bond of the "FORD" emblem on the radiator grille is separated in the same way.
Wash off any remaining glue with alcohol and dry the bonding area.
Heat the new molding with a hair dryer.
Remove the protective paper from the new molding, place the molding in place and press firmly.
To improve the adhesive action, press the molding along its entire length with a suitable wooden or plastic roller.
Remove the adhesive tape.
