Removal
Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.
Warning! This will erase data in electronic memory devices, such as the engine fault memory device or the radio code. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.
Raise the car.
If equipped, disconnect the bumper lights (fog lights) wiring.
If present, disconnect the headlight washer hoses and seal the openings with suitable plugs.
Remove the right and left bumper/wheel arch connecting bolts.
Remove the four mounting nuts.
Pull the bumper forward and remove it from the side pins.
Remove the bumper.
Installation
Position the bumper so that its hooks fit into the side pins.
Tighten the mounting nuts to a torque of 10 Nm.
Secure the bumper with the wheel arch/bumper connecting bolts.
If equipped, connect the fog light wires and install the headlight washer hoses.
Lower the car.
Connect the ground (-) wire to the battery terminal.
Set the time on the clock.
Set the radio anti-theft code.
