Removal



Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.

Warning! This will erase data in electronic memory devices, such as the engine fault memory or radio code. Please read the section ''Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.

Remove the two bolts securing the hood lock handle. Remove the hood cable from the holder. Turn the lever 90° downwards and disconnect the cable from the drive lever.

Pull up the cable protection clamp on the hood lock, having first unscrewed the nut.

Disconnect the cable from the hood latch and remove the cable.



Installation



Attach the cable to the hood latch.

Install the cable protection clamp and secure it with the nut.

Pull the cable into the passenger compartment and attach it to the drive lever.

Tighten the bonnet lock handle to 10 Nm.

Thread the side trim through the handle and secure.

Connect the ground (-) wire to the battery terminal.

Set the time on the clock.

Set the radio anti-theft code.
