- Eliminate the protruding edges around the hole in the varnish with a thin needle or a watch screwdriver.
- Carefully scrape off the rust with a sharp knife. Then apply a drop of Corrosion Converter to the area and let it work for about an hour.
- Now clean the damaged area with varnish thinner and then dry thoroughly.
- Squirt some aerosol primer onto the spray nozzle cover and apply it with a thin brush or fingertip in a thin layer to the damaged area. The primer should dry well.
- Use your fingertip or a small plastic knife to press some putty into the wear hole flush with the surrounding paint surface and let it dry. Quickly wipe the putty stain on the varnish with a rag.
- Carefully sand the mass of putty with a narrow strip of fine sanding paper wrapped around the end of the pencil. Always rotate the pencil between your palms
- Inject the top coat into the nozzle cover and let it air out for a minute. Then you can apply the thickened varnish with your fingertip or a sharp brush.
- Completely dried varnish is necessary next (in summer after about two, in winter after about five days) polish extensively with a polish or lacquer cleaner.
