Polishing of small scratches (Mondeo 3)

ORDER OF EXECUTION

First, thoroughly clean the damaged area with cleaning gasoline or solvent.
Polish off any extraneous colours (if any) in several passes using polishing wool, sanding polish or lacquer cleaner. Then make sure that the polishing area is as small as possible.
First, carefully sand the "torn" edges of the scratch with a small strip of water sanding paper (minimum grain size 800). Constantly wet the sanding paper and spray water into the sanding area. Note: do not sand the topcoat.
Polish the damaged area with a soft polish, distributing the paint particles from the outside to the inside of the scratch.
Then cover the treated area with a varnish preservative.
If you attach great importance to gloss, then polish the entire car at the end.
