During the subsequent check, slightly release the steering wheel (but keep your hands ready) and check whether the steering wheel beats when braking. Check the parking brake while the car is coasting. When the parking brake is applied, braking distances of the same length should be created. The most accurate, and also inexpensive, is a braking test performed on a service station test bench.
