Withdrawal
Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.
Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.
Petrol engine: remove the air bleed hose/resonator, see point 5.6.
Disconnect the plug from the fan motor. Cut the plastic strap holders with side cutters and replace during installation. Unscrew the two top fixing bolts -arrow- for the air duct.
Lift the fan together with the air duct. To do this, pull the retaining lug of the air duct at the bottom out of the retaining clip.
Unscrew the motor from the fan bracket.
Installation
Mount the motor on the air duct and screw it on, tightening torque 10 Nm.
Install the air duct with the fan motor in the car. In doing so, you must engage the lower protrusions of the air duct.
Screw the air duct at the top with a torque of 10 Nm.
Connect the plug to the engine, check the tightness of its fit by shaking it in one direction and the other. Lay the wire as it was laid before dismantling, secure it with new holder straps.
Install air intake hose/resonator.
Connect ground wire (-). Set the clock, set the anti-theft code of the radio.
