1. Pry off the plugs of the two holes in the rear trim of the trunk and remove them.
2. After inserting the key through the holes in the trim, unscrew the two screws securing the lock latch and remove it.
3. Install the trunk lid lock latch in the reverse order of removal.
4. If after installing the latch the lock locks with an impact, loosen the bolts securing the latch and, by moving it in the desired direction, achieve impact-free locking of the lock.
