NOTE: Left outside mirror removal shown.
The right mirror is removed in a similar manner.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the front door trim (see Removing and installing front door trim).
3. By pressing the lock…
4….disconnect the wiring harness connector for the electric drive and heating of the outside rearview mirror.
5. Remove the outside mirror mounting bolt…
6….and take it off.
7. Install the outside rearview mirror in the reverse order of removal.
