1. Carefully pry up the right edge of the upper trim of the trunk lid and, overcoming the resistance of the four pins, remove it.
2. Press the locking tab of the wiring harness connector and disconnect it from the connector of the middle license plate light.
3. Press the locking tabs of the wiring harness connectors and disconnect them from the left and right license plate light connectors.
4. Remove the four screws securing the license plate light base…
5….and remove the base.
6. Remove the two screws securing the lower trim of the trunk lid in its middle part.
7. Remove two side trim mounting screws on each side of the trunk lid…
8….and take it off.
9. Install the lower and upper trunk lid trims in the reverse order of removal.
