Replacing the front door opening limiter (Mondeo 4)

You will need: a 10 mm socket head and a 13 mm wrench.

The front door opening limiter mechanism is installed in the upper door hinge.

To replace it, follow these steps.



1. Remove the upper door hinge bolt.



2. Unscrew the two bolts securing the upper hinge to the door and remove it.

3. Install the new upper door hinge in the reverse order of removal.
