Replacing the inner handle of the front door lock drive (Mondeo 4)

You will need: TORX T20 key, flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Remove the front door trim (see Removing and installing front door trim).

2. Remove the fastening screw from the piston of the inner handle housing of the lock.

3. Using a screwdriver, pry the inner handle housing and remove the mounting pin from the inner door panel.

5. Pressing from below on the end of the lock drive cable sheath, remove the end from the handle body.

6. Press the handle to disconnect the cable end from the lever of the inner handle of the lock drive…

7….and remove the handle.

8. Install the front door inner lock actuator handle in the reverse order of removal.
