Drive shaft faults (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Clicking or knocking noise when turning the steering wheel to the stop at low speed

• Lack of lubrication in the constant velocity joint (Chapter 8).
• Wear of the outer constant velocity joint (Chapter 8).

Vibration when decelerating or accelerating

• Wear of the inner constant velocity joint (Chapter 8).
• The drive shaft is bent or damaged (Chapter 8).
