Structure of switching circuits (Focus Turnier 1)

The wiring diagrams in this reference book relate to the engine electronics of the most popular Focus trim levels. They correspond to the state of the art at the time of the information search. Wiring diagrams of the general on-board electrical equipment may have been partially ignored. The constant improvement of Focus models also does not exclude changes in the wiring diagrams. Therefore, deviations from the published technical documentation are possible.

The colors of the wires in the switching circuits are, from experience, designated by abbreviations. Here are the most common designations:

• BL — blue
• GE - yellow
• GN - green
• RT - red
• VI - purple
• BR — brown
• GR — gray
• RS - pink
• SW - black
• WS — white

Wire cross section: wiring diagrams often do not contain this data. In case of wire repair, measure its cross-section on site.

Numbering: the numbers in the frames indicate electrical components; numbers in frames with additional letters most often indicate a plug connector.
