The wiring diagrams in this section refer to the motor electrics of the most popular Mondeo equipment. They correspond to the most modern technical level of visual search of the necessary component. Wiring diagrams for the general onboard electrics have been taken into account peripherally. Constant care of the Mondeo, of course, does not preclude changes to the electrical circuits. Therefore, deviations from the documentation provided are possible.
The structure of electrical circuits
The colors of the wires in the diagrams, as experience has shown, are given in the form of a letter abbreviation. Here are the most commonly used notations:
- BL - blue
- BR - brown
- GE - yellow
- GR - gray
- GN - green
- RS - pink
- RT - red
- SW - black
- VI - purple
- WS - white
Wire cross section: more than this, electrical diagrams often lack any data. When repairing wires, first measure the cross section of the wire on site.
Abbreviations: framed numbers characterize electrical elements; framed numbers with additional letters mainly indicate plug connections.
