Removal and installation of the mechanism of screen wipers

Withdrawal

Remove the wiper arms, see point 23.5.

Remove the ventilation grill see 17.5.



Wring out the mechanism with a fork wrench in three centers of rotation.

Installation

Lubricate the support shells -A- of the wiper mechanism, as well as the new rubber bellows -B- with grease (FORD-SAM-1C-9111-A).

Push the rubber bellows over the edge of the support shell.

Install the support shells on the centers of rotation -C-.



Place a crescent wrench on the edge of the pole shell and secure the pole shell with clamps using water pump pliers.

Install the ventilation grille see 17.5.

Install the wiper arms see point 23.5.
