If the windshield is not cleaned well, the windshield wiper rubber should be replaced. Windshield wiper blades are sold as a set (rubber with a holder) and as separate rubber. When replacing the rubber, make sure that the holder is not bent.

The rubber is inserted into two metal mounting rails "1", which are removed separately.
Removal
Caution! When working with the windscreen wiper system, remove the key from the ignition switch, otherwise the automatic parking position may be activated as a result of the movement of the windscreen wiper arms or the windscreen wiper drive with the key in position "1" in the ignition switch. Risk of injury!
Fold the windshield wipers upward and remove them from the locking mechanism.

Position the blades vertically in relation to the wiper arm.
Press down on spring clip "A" and slide the wiper blade down from the hook on the arm.
Slide the wiper blade up and remove it from the wiper arm hook through hole "B".

Squeeze both tires together on the closed side of the rubber (use pliers if necessary), remove from the side of the top clamp and pull the rubber and tires out of the remaining wiper blade clamps.
Installation
Loosely insert the new rubber without the retaining bars into the wiper blade clamp.

Insert both tires into the rubber so that the tire grooves are facing the rubber and are fixed in the rubber protrusions.
Press both steel bars and rubber together (with pliers) and insert into the other clamps so that the protrusions of the clamps are fixed in the locking grooves of the rubber.
Slide the blades through the wiper arm and secure the spring clips into the wiper arm hooks.
Fold back the windshield wiper arm. Make sure that the rubber is in contact with the glass everywhere.
