Removal
Wet the rear window with water.
Operate the rear window wiper for 2 minutes and turn it off with the wiper switch. This will set the wiper to the end position.
Mark the position of the wiper blade on the rear window in the resting position using adhesive tape. To do this, stick a strip of tape on the rear window directly next to the wiper blade. When installing, place the wiper arm back on the toothed engagement of the drive shaft so that the wiper blade is directly next to the glued strip.
Fold up the plastic cap "A".
Unscrew nut "B" two turns.
Fold the wiper arm up and slightly remove it from the cone.
Return the windshield wiper arm to its original position, unscrew the nut and remove it together with the sealing washer "C".
Remove the wiper arm "D".
Open the rear body lid and unscrew the 10 trim bolts. Turnire: unscrew the six bolts, having previously pressed the protective caps with a small screwdriver. Disconnect the four spring clips and remove the trim towards the window.
Unscrew the ground wire "1".
Press the spring clip of the multi-pin connector "2" away from the inner sheet metal of the rear body cover.
Unscrew the wiper motor holder "3".
Remove the engine together with the holder.
Remove the three bracket bolts from the engine. Remove the idler pulleys and pull the three rubber mounts out of the bracket.
Installation
Insert three rubber supports into the holder. Put on the guide pulleys and screw the holder to the windshield wiper motor with three bolts with a torque of 8 Nm. Pre-check the rubber supports for porosity and damage, replace if necessary.
Screw the windscreen wiper motor with the holder to the rear body cover and tighten to a torque of 8 Nm.
Screw on the ground wire.
Connect the multi-pin connector and secure it with the spring clip on the back cover.
Temporarily connect the battery ground cable.
Run the wiper motor briefly and turn it off using the wiper switch until the blades stop at the end position.
Install the windshield wiper arm. To do this, place the drive shaft on the cone, align it with the adhesive strips on the rear window and press.
Apply the spring washer and screw the wiper arm with the nut, tightening it to a torque of 20 Nm
Connect the battery ground wire.
Wet the rear window with water. Check the operation of the rear window wiper, replace the wiper blade if necessary.
Attention! After testing the windshield wiper on a wet glass, tighten the windshield wiper nut to a torque of 20 Nm.
Screw the rear lid trim. Turnire: Install the trim from the window side, secure with spring clips and then screw. Put on the protective caps.
Set the current time on the clock. Set the radio anti-theft code.
