Front wheel hub bearing (Mondeo 1)

            0

A damaged wheel hub bearing can be identified by the following signs: noise when turning sharply; hard wheel rotation when the brake is off. The bearing is seated in the knuckle journal with great tension, so it can only be installed using a suitable pressing tool. This work should be carried out at a service station. To replace the wheel hub bearing, the knuckle journal must first be removed and the wheel hub pressed out.
