Withdrawal



Remove the tie rod end.

Remove the clamps on both sides of the cuff. Cut the clamps with wire cutters or loosen the screw clamps. Replace wire clamps with screw clamps during installation.

Remove the rubber cuff.

Attention! If the cuff has been defective for a long time. the dirt got inside. Together with the lubricant, they act as a grinding paste and destroy the steering gearbox. In this case, as in the presence of corrosion on the steering rack, have the defect repaired at a service station.


Installation





Lightly lubricate tie rod -C-.

Lightly lubricate the inner edges -E- of the cuff -B- and put it on the tie rod -C-.

Secure the collar with a clamp -D- to the steering rack housing -A-. Install the tie rod end.

Fasten the cuff on the steering rod with a clamp, while the cuff tape should firmly enter the annular groove of the steering rod.

Lower the car.

Check wheel alignment, adjust if necessary.

Check if the cuff has turned. Finally, secure the outer screw clamp.
