Removal
Remove the brake caliper/brake bracket.
If necessary, use a small screwdriver to remove the two stoppers from the wheel studs.
Remove the brake disc.
Installation
In order to ensure equal braking force on both sides, both brake discs must have the same working surface roughness. Therefore, replace both discs at once, or grind them down.
At the service station, the end runout of the disk is checked. The maximum runout is given in paragraph 15.1.
Measure the thickness of the brake disc.
If necessary, remove rust from the brake disc flange and front wheel hub with a soft metal brush.
Clean the new brake disc with nitro solvent to remove the protective coating.
Install the brake disc on the wheel hub and secure it with two stoppers, placing them on the threads of two opposite wheel studs.
Install the caliper/brake bracket.
