Withdrawal

Remove the brake caliper/caliper.

If necessary, use a small screwdriver to remove the two stoppers from the wheel studs.

Remove the brake disc.

Installation

In order to ensure the same braking force on both sides, it is necessary that both brake discs have the same surface roughness. Therefore, replace both disks at once, or grind them.

At the service station, the end runout of the disc is checked. The maximum runout is given in clause 15.1.

Measure the brake disc thickness.

If necessary, remove rust from the brake disc flange and front wheel hub with a soft metal brush.

Clean the new brake disc with a nitro thinner to remove the protective coating.

Install the brake disc on the wheel hub and secure with two stoppers, putting them on the threads of the two opposite wheel studs.

Install the caliper/brake caliper.
