RECOMMENDATION: The manufacturer recommends using ethylene glycol-based coolant (antifreeze). Check with your dealer - seller of the car for the brand of liquid poured into your car.
RECOMMENDATION: Do not mix liquids of different colors and different manufacturers. If you do not know the brand of the liquid you have filled in and you need to top it up, replace all the liquid in the cooling system.
RECOMMENDATION: Use only products from proven manufacturers. Remember that using low-quality coolant leads to expensive engine repairs! Before starting work, place the car on a level surface.
WARNING: Check the coolant level only when the engine is cold.
WARNING: Coolant is toxic, so take precautions when handling it.
WARNING: Do not fill the reservoir above the "MAX" mark, as the volume will increase when the engine is running.
WARNING: When starting the engine, the expansion tank cap must be closed.
USEFUL TIP: Always monitor the coolant level. A sudden decrease or increase should be a signal for an immediate inspection of the engine cooling system.
USEFUL TIP: If freshly poured antifreeze suddenly and unexpectedly quickly changes color to brown, it means you were sold a fake, to which they "forgot" to add corrosion inhibitors.
USEFUL TIP: Replace the fluid as quickly as possible before it has time to corrode the cooling system components.
USEFUL TIP: The expansion tank is located in the right rear of the engine compartment.
1. The coolant level must be between the "MAX" and "MIN" marks on the wall of the expansion tank.

4. Screw the cap of the expansion tank back on and remove any spilled liquid with a clean cloth.
WARNING: Tighten the expansion tank cap securely. The expansion tank is under pressure when the engine is running, so a loose cap may leak coolant or tear off the cap.
