Control lamp of temperature of a cooling liquid

As the engine warms up, the indicator arrow moves to the red zone. At elevated temperatures, the coolant boils. In this case, stop driving, stop the engine and let it idle for one or two minutes, then check. Possible causes of the malfunction:

- short-term movement of the arrow to the red zone, which is considered a normal phenomenon, can be in full load mode, when driving in mountainous areas or in a column in high heat;

- after stopping the heated engine, the arrow moves to the red zone;

- liquid pump failure;

- low coolant level, check and top up if necessary;

- jammed thermostat, to check, touch the radiator (if it is cold, this is a clear sign of jamming);

- fan does not turn on (blown fan fuse);

- the radiator is dirty - clean it from the inside.

Fuel gauge

It works after the ignition is turned on. The arrow is set in a position corresponding to the amount of fuel in the tank. If the fuel level in the tank drops to 6 liters, the control lamp lights up.

Turn signal control

The arrows should light up separately, for each indicator, and when the emergency light alarm is turned on, both at the same time.

Speedometer

Immediately after the start of movement, the arrow of the device should move.

Distance meter and trip odometer

Check if the trip meter resets to zero after pressing the appropriate button while the vehicle is stationary.

Tachometer

The tachometer shows the engine speed. The arrow should not move into the red range. Optimum fuel consumption corresponds to driving the car in higher gears at a speed of 3000 min-1. When driving new cars during the break-in period, the speed should not exceed 130 km / h, and the engine speed should not exceed 3500 min-1.

Oil pressure warning lamp

If the oil pressure warning light comes on while driving, stop the vehicle immediately and check the oil level. If it is correct and the warning light is on, have the vehicle towed to the nearest workshop.

Watch

The clock runs continuously because it is always energized. If the battery is disconnected, the clock stops and the time needs to be set again.

Airbag warning lamp

After turning on the ignition, the lamp lights up for about 10 seconds, if it goes out, the airbag module is ready for operation.

ABS warning lamp

The anti-lock braking system warning lamp lights up briefly after the ignition is switched on (about 3 seconds). When the engine crankshaft rotates or the driving speed exceeds 5 km/h, the lamp goes out.

Battery charging control lamp

The battery charge indicator lamp should be on after the ignition is switched on, and should go out when the engine is running. If it lights up while driving, check the alternator belt first. Otherwise, the generator is faulty.

Brake warning lamp

Illuminates when the parking brake is applied or when the brake fluid level is low. If the parking brake lever is not activated and the lamp lights up, check the brake fluid level immediately. Often this leads to the need to check the brake system for leaks (verification required).

Brake pad wear warning lamp

The brake pad wear indicator lamp lights up when braking if the brake pads are ahead and (or) at the rear are worn to the minimum allowable thickness. Replace pads.

high beam warning lamp

The high-beam indicator lamp lights up blue when the high-beam headlights are on or the high beam is switched on.

Control lamp of heating of back glass

Check if the control lamp in the switch lights up when the heating is turned on.

Fog light warning lamp

The lamp should light up when you turn on the fog lights.

Warning light warning lamp

The control lamp should flash synchronously with the direction indicator signaling device.
