Generator brush replacement

Replace the alternator brushes on a 16-valve engine as follows:

- Turn out on the back party of the removed generator bolts of fastening of a regulator and remove a regulator (pic. 290);

- fix a new regulator on the generator, take out a safety pin of a brush;

- install the generator and connect to the battery.

Replace the alternator brushes on a V6 engine as follows:

- unscrew the rear cover on the removed generator (pic. 291);

- Turn out bolts of fastening of a regulator/brush holder and take out a regulator from the generator;

- insert a new regulator and fasten with bolts;

- reinstall the back cover, install the alternator and connect it to the battery.
