Checking the installed generator

While the vehicle is moving, the battery charging indicator lamp should not light up. Otherwise, the generator or voltage regulator is faulty. First of all, check all the connecting wires of the generator. Then check the tension of the belt on the belt pulley and the operation of the automatic tensioner. The remaining checks are performed with the generator removed.
