Remove the luggage net.
Remove the middle tin covering from the back wall, see paragraph 17.28.
Remove the rear light trim. To do this, unscrew the two bolts "1" and remove the trim from the guides "2".
Disconnect the multi-pin plug.
Unscrew the four nuts of the rear light and remove it.
Remove the old sealing compound from the groove in the rear shield.
Installation
Apply new sealing compound to the sealing groove.
Install the rear light and screw it with four nuts.
Put on the multi-pin connector.
Insert the rear light trim retaining tabs into the guides and tighten with two bolts.
Install the middle panel of the rear wall sheet metal, see paragraph 17.28.
Hang the luggage net.
Withdrawal for Turnier
Remove the rear light trim and side trim by turning one or two spring clips 90° and pulling out.
Disconnect multi-pin connector "1".
Unlock lamp holder "2" by squeezing the locking tabs together.
Unscrew the four nuts "3" of the rear light and remove it outward.
Remove the old sealant from the groove on the back sheet.
Installation
Apply new sealing compound into the groove.
Install the rear light and secure with four nuts.
Insert the lamp holder and lock it in place.
Put on the multi-pin connector.
Install the headlight trim and side trim and secure with one or two clamps, turning 90° to lock.
