Ford Mondeo is equipped with a CD4E type automatic four-speed gearbox, which is controlled by the EEC V electronic engine control unit.

The oil in the automatic transmission is filled for the entire service life. If it is necessary to top up, the brand of oil can be found out at the Ford service center.

All types of repairs and adjustments are recommended to be carried out at a specialized service station, as this requires special tools and high qualifications.
