Use cooling system hoses ordered by engine number.
To replace the coolant hose:
- Drain the coolant from the system;
- unscrew the screws in the attachment points (with screw clamps);
- squeeze both ends of the clamp until it stops (with hose clamps made of spring band);
- remove the hose. If the hose is very tight, gently pry it out with a screwdriver;
- put a new hose on the connecting fitting, using hose clamps for fastening. Do not overtighten the clamping screw to avoid damaging the threads and cutting the hose.
