Use cooling system hoses ordered according to engine number.
To replace the coolant hose:
- drain the coolant from the system;
- unscrew the screws at the mounting points (if there are screw clamps);
- squeeze both ends of the clamp until they stop (for spring-loaded band hose clamps);
- remove the hose. If the hose is very tight, gently pry it off with a screwdriver;
- Place the new hose onto the connecting nipple, using hose clamps to secure it. Do not overtighten the clamping screw to avoid damaging the thread or cutting the hose.
