Wheel replacement (Mondeo 2)

To ensure that the tyres wear evenly, rotate the wheels. The tyres on the drive wheels, in this case the front ones, wear out earlier than the tyres on the rear wheels. In this case, the rear wheels can be moved to the front, as their 1.6 mm profile depth still meets the requirements set by the manufacturer. Thus, only two tyres need to be replaced, with the new tyres being mounted on the front axle and the old tyres on the rear axle.

When replacing tires, be sure to ensure that the tires are from the same manufacturer, have the same tread pattern and service life.
